This paper provides an overview of the three e-voting systems that have been tested during the last Catalan election (a remote voting one, a touch-screen system and a third application with an electronic ballot). It has been the broadest pilot experience in Spain, managed by three leading Spanish companies, and the authors have been external observers. They summarize the data obtained focusing on the main legal and sociopolitical considerations.
