Abstract:
This report details the activities undertaken by the Scan-ICT programme, from September 2001 to
December 2002. Indicators that were developed for studies in Ethiopia and Mozambique have been
explained in detail, while an overview of similar efforts similar efforts in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and
Uganda is provided.
Observations:
This document was compiled through the efforts of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Team of the Development Information Services Division (DISD). The material contained in this Report is based on the SCAN-ICT Project Reports presented at the Third Meeting of the Committee on Development and Information (CODI 3), which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from April 10-17, 2003.
