Abstract:

The aim of Prometheus is to publish high quality peer reviewed research papers and contributions to national and international policy debate relating to technological change, innovation, information economics, and telecommunications and science policy.

The journal seeks to act as a bridge between disciplines, as well as between scholarly work and the policy process. Articles cover subjects as diverse as technology and globalization, information infrastructure for development, the Digital Divide, Asia’s leap into E-commerce, intellectual property in biotechnology firms, medical perspectives on patient use of the Internet, innovation and historical continuity, environmental management, codification and its implications for the knowledge-based economy, website design and content, the impact of language in global operations.
