telecentre.org is a community of people and organizations committed increasing the impact of telecentres around the world.
We work together to create the resources telecentres need to succeed:
* Locally relevant content and services
* Support and learning opportunities
* Networks that help telecentre people connect to each other
Started in 2005 by by the International Development Research Centre, Microsoft, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Telecentre.org became in 2010 an independent foundation based in Manila, Philippines. It coordinates the Telecentre Academy.
