Abstract:

The overall objective for this study is to provide an overview of e-readiness assessments in developing and emerging countries by focusing on the activities and outcomes of the infoDev e-readiness initiative. Based on the findings, the study explores possible ways to move forward the e-readiness agenda in the developing world, looking into the potential linkages between e-readiness action plans and the MDGs.
