The public sector is dealing with information and knowledge resources by large. The challenges facing increased public participation in societal decision making are to a great extend due to the large scale of information flow, the various formats of input and the organisation of the information and data into useful knowledge that will ensure feedback and more public involvement. The aim of this report is to cast a light on the potential of new and emerging technologies to lower the barriers and face the challenges of eParticipation.
