These are things I’ve said, for different purposes and on different places. The following links lead you to my ICT4D Bibliography repository, which I also use as personal repository.
Note that “downloadable materials” only applies when, once you’ve clicked on a “project” title, a URL appears (sometimes, even an alternate URL too: this is usually a place on my own site to mirror the original – and remote, and sometimes no more running – site). These materials can be plenty of things, but are usually Power Point presentations in PDF format, so don’t expect full explanation seminal articles from those ;)
Even if it’s not very accurate, here comes sort of a classification:
Seminars
Speeches imparted in seminars or training sessions.

Conferences
Speeches imparted in events the like of seminars but open to the general public, with larger audience, less interaction; the like of congresses, but without possibility to submit communications.

Communications
Speeches imparted in congresses — i.e. events with scheduled speakers and with the possibility to present a communication that a comittee can accept — as keynote speaker or with a submitted and accepted communication.
