The vision of NewMinE is that new information and communication technologies can be employed to improve the quality of educational activities, provided this is done within an eLearner centered framework. ICT in education is not an added value in itself, but can assist in good educational practices and effective learning experiences. NewMinErs’ viewpoint is based on the evidence that education has always richly and creatively integrated every new means available to maintain, grow and share knowledge. The central mission of NewMinE is to develop theoretical and applied perspectives on enhancing and supporting education through the use of advanced technologies and interactive media.
