"shorthcomings in the usage of Internet around us would mostly be a consequence of shortcomings of our networks"

Ricard, I guess this is one of the main conclusions of the whole event :)

I think that one of the most relevant insights of the session was provided by Imaz at the beginning of his talk:

"The Internet just instrumented former existing networks".

As I understand it, it means that networks fuel the Internet, and not the other way around. Therefore, shorthcomings in the usage of Internet around us would mostly be a consequence of shortcomings of our networks. Or from shortcomings in the ingredients that fuel networks around us.

If this is so, arguing, as Iceta does, that the we should first promote 'digital literacy' and digital acces, and take care of networks AFTERWARDS is, I believe, totally losing the point. That said, realizing that Iceta is one of the most active bloggers among politicians only raises concerns.
