Google custom search for the field of ICT and Development

Karl Brown has just created a custom search using Google Co-op for the field of ICT and Development.

He conviced somehow ;) the following people to contribute / be part of the team developing the custom search:

I must admit that it is an honor to be listed besides people like these :)

Karl Brown created also a site to host the custom search and, who knows, what might become of its evolution:

To give it a try:

  1. It looks like a great iniciative. Could those iniciative help us to get through the current
    politics of search engines?

Since I have read “Introna, L. & Nissenbaum, H. (2000). Shaping the Web: Why the Politics of Search Engine Matters. The Information Society. Vol. 16. nº 3. pp. 169-184”
I’am concerned about the consequences of the intensive use of these Internet tools in any activity of everyday life.

    Congratulations again for the initiative.
