While I like the idea of the digital fingerprint, I guess a lot of people would like to keep the concept of "repudiation" as a backdoor for the future: "nope, I never ever did not say so".

It's hard to find sometimes in some search engine's cache things you said just five or ten years ago. Imagine same thing with all you said.

Anyway, I mostly agree with your thoughts about reputation. On the other hand, quite a commitment with your future yourself, isn't it? ;)

Ismael, I really like the stock and flow ideas. makes a lot of sense. I put together a slide describing the coming of digital identities and reputation management a while back. It kind of fits here; http://www.rawsthorne.org/bit/medit/ed6620/mock/index.htm I've also attached the companion pdf; http://www.rawsthorne.org/bit/medit/ed6620/mock/reputation.pdf

When all is said and done I like the idea of having a digital fingerprint attached to everything we create online. That way it can always find its way back to us...

Cheers
